“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.” (NKJV)
Here’s some good news: you were born to win! You were never born to fail! You were born with the seed of God inside you, His divine spark just waiting for the Holy Spirit to touch you and set you alight. This is the truth from the heart of Abba – that you were born for success.
So why are there so many people who may not agree? Because they believe they are losers, and that they can never make it however hard they try, so they just don’t try. Others just never see themselves as winners, so they go through life just getting by, never making a mark, never doing anything outstanding for themselves or others. How does God see it? He looks at the ones who are His through the precious blood of Jesus, and He sees us as He sees Jesus. He sees us as complete, holy, fruitful vines, walking in our divine destiny. He has already given us everything we need for life and Godliness (2 Peter 1:3), with access to all things in His heavenly domain through His name. What makes the difference? Our agreement with God; our recognition and daily awareness and consciousness that we are sons of the Most High, and that we carry Jesus’ victory in our DNA. How different your life would be if you reminded yourself at the start of every day (and other times too) about your true identity – that you are supernaturally born from heaven, of the seed of God, and therefore, born to win.
Paul writes “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ….”. His thanksgiving to God is a “now” thing. Gratitude to the Father is his ever present reality, because he is living in a realm of victory, even before he sees the results. He is cognizant and thankful that it is all rigged in his favor, and that he is destined to win! He is aware that there cannot be another outcome because God “always” leads him in triumph. Friend, Jesus already defeated every enemy, and conquered death, infirmity and debt when He bore our stripes upon His back. He is the door through which we enter into that realm of success and victory. (His body is/was our “triumphal entry”!) If we allow this truth to sink deep into our hearts and minds, we would never feel we had to strive and strain to get ahead; it would feel like the normal and natural thing to step into success – into a pathway already prepared for us! It is an expectation of victory that will always produce. (“Success” may not always be a measurable outcome; it could often be completely intangible, like the joy and strength with which you go through some difficulty; but it is what God has decreed for you – that you will always triumph in every situation.)
Friend, you were born to win and to “diffuse the fragrance of His knowledge in every place”. Your success is attractive to others, and a testimony to the goodness of God. It draws people unto Jesus and His presence. Success carries a frequency which perpetuates and spreads. It is a heavenly realm! When you hang around people who are successful, it “rubs off” and you find the same things start happening to you. Also, as you begin to see success in your life, it begins to repeat itself, because you are now tapping into the realm. Jesus won the ultimate battle, and He has made it possible for you to do the same. Let this be a part of your new identity, and the fragrance you carry upon you.You were never born to fail; you were born to win!
