“Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” (NKJV)
Jesus is the glorious light of the “world” and He fills everything in the visible and invisible realm. He is living in us; we are one with Him, and therefore everything He is, we are (1 John 4:17) This makes us light filled beings who emanate His light and Truth on the face of the earth, people filled with divine Revelation. There may be darkness in the world around you, but this is your time to shine! Romans 5:20 says that “where sin abounded, grace abounded much more.” It is the shining of His light! Things may seem crazy and confusing, but that’s all the more reason to live your purpose and to shine – yes, shine! You are the temple of the Holy Spirit, the residence of the Lord of light. You are a life giving spirit, walking the earth, and called to influence the world in which you live, by your conscious life of oneness with Jesus the Christ. You are a light bringing spirit, and as you grow and glow, you walk into the darkness and things start lighting up, things start getting exposed; situations begin to be transformed because of your presence, and because of Jesus emanating through you wherever you are.
Dear friend, you may be concerned about things currently happening in the world, and what looks like the increase of dark powers over nations and people, but remember that there are no surprises for God! He knows the end from the beginning. He always knew what our world would be like this very day and week and month. He has been filling you up with Himself, working with you and preparing you for such a time as this. You were born with a purpose and a calling, to be a light bringer, a life bringer, to the nations of the world. There is enough dynamite inside you to change your neighborhood, your city, your nation – hallelujah!
This is not a season to dread and fear; it is an opportunity to stay conscious of the One within you, and to find out just how great God is. It is a chance to shine because He that is in you is huge and mighty, and far greater than anything or anyone out there in the world! (1 John 4:4). I have realized that I am much bigger on the inside than I am on the outside. There is no limit to how much of God my spirit can contain, or the infinity of heaven I can access from within. The great “I am” is living in me, and I am a being of light. Just knowing who I am and focusing on the might of the Spirit in me has changed the way I pray! There is no more need for me to be petitioning God because He has given me all access to the heavenly realms. I am a spiritual being, a being of light. My spirit, with His, can fly! I can call forth things that are not as though they are, and they are. (Romans 4:17). I can release the light of Jesus from within me, and see heaven manifest to change the earth.
Who are you beloved child of Abba? You are the temple of the Holy Spirit and a being of light. You were chosen before the foundations of the world, and called out of that realm of confusion, nothingness and darkness into His own divine and marvelous light of love. Now you display the same DNA, with His light burning brightly from within you. You are the blood bought child of Abba, a true, modern GMO (God modified organism!) and even your flesh will begin to respond to the light of God within you – the light and Truth of Jesus manifesting from deep inside you.
Are you seeing deception and lies in multiple situations around you? Are you seeing the truth being manipulated, stifled and blocked? Be the light. Emanate Jesus. Stand firm for the truth wherever you are. Almighty Yahweh wants to leak out through you to touch this hurting world. This is not a time to hide in your room and never come out. This is your hour to be the light of the world, to bring Jesus to a world in confusion and in need.
Here’s what I feel the Lord is saying to you today:
“My precious one, you are a beacon, a being of light; my habitation, my temple of might. You have a calling, a purpose and a powerful plan: to manifest Me, and to shine in the world as My supernatural man. If you stay conscious of heaven, conscious of Me, you will be a true transcender, a world changer, and this is your destiny. Remember – all things, ALL things are possible with Me.”
Friend, you were meant to glow in the dark! You are the light of the world because Jesus the eternal light is living in you, lighting up everything from within you. You can make a real difference wherever you are – just by being the Jesus person you are, that beautiful being of light! You are truly filled with Jesus’ power and might, a heavenly person bringing vision in the night, and emanating revelation light! Hallelujah and glory to God!
